And you're a rather peaceful vampire, from what I know of you. Miss Carter would not speak kindly of someone without them being truly a valuable and trusting acquaintance.

[He draws in a breath. No matter how long it's been, Stefan still finds praise hard to believe - especially when it's from someone he admires.]

I'll have to thank her later. [His expression softens, considerably.] And you, as well, for being so trusting.

You should be very proud; it can be a testament, being able to garner Miss Carter's compliments.

[He smiles a bit playfully, the conversation helping rattle his concern of vampires.

[He's super proud. So proud, in fact, that he's practically beaming from the praise - and he's able to relax a little.]

Halal meaning um, not permissible. I take pills most of the time, and animal blood, whenever I can get my hands on it.

[His smile softens.]

That would be considerably kind of you, thank you... though I'm afraid my family in Europe is a bit disconnected from my life at the moment. [A short pause.] But do feel free to stop by the Stark family's manor in the future and let them know a young and spry Jarvis sends his regards.

[He wonders if he'll have children. They've always wanted to settle with children. Jarvis can't help but fret about what kind of father he'll be; it's so easy to muck it up, you know.]

[Ah, yes. Stefan lets out a breath at his own callousness. He should've guessed, with the turmoil of the war still ever-present in Peggy's and Jarvis's lives.]

Of course. [He grins, finally turning and preparing the tea like he had promised. He can already imagine Jarvis's grandchildren. God, if the world is kind, they probably have his compassion too.] Just so I'm clear, you're talking about uh, what was his name - Tony? Tony Stark's family?

[No worries, Stefan. Jarvis knows appearances are always deceiving. He simply tries not to think of his family, his old life; harder said than done.]

That's right. Though at the moment I work for his father. I've heard he's been quite busy since taking up the head of the household.

Well, if his father's anything like him, then he's certainly got the skills to match his confidence.

[He has to clarify, for his own peace of mind:] I've never met Tony, but his broadcasts were uh, pretty hard to miss.

... I never even considered broadcasts.

[Does this mean... he'll be able to see this elusive Anthony Stark, even if he can't meet him in person?]

Like I said, I've never met him, but he's got a certain uh... charisma? Charm? Something like that.
